About THE ARTIST

Lizzie Kendal is a British artist and storyteller based in London. Her work spans performance, assemblage, and illustration. She likes to arrange found objects and materials to pose questions and enable contemplation. In her collaborative work - often with children and families - she likes to create immersive, imaginative experiences that spark learning.

Lizzie has designed and led creative activities for people of all ages and abilities at various museums as well as schools and community events. She also has experience in stage and set design, and creating illustrated learning resources such as self-led family trails.

She an alumni of the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) with a joint honours in Social Anthropology and History of Art, Central Saint Martins (UAL) and has an MA in Art, Design and Education from the UCL Institute of Education,
